Hello and welcome to DJR Artisan Woodcraft!

A native of Toronto, Don Recourt has lived in Niagara on the lake for the past 10 years. An appreciation for his surroundings and location inspires him and is embedded into all his builds.

Don first started woodworking as a boy, under the careful tutelage of his architect father. He enjoys the creativity of woodworking, especially taking a concept to reality.

Don enjoys working with woods of all description; he feels the choice of wood brings a unique texture and originality to each piece he makes. Taking great pride in moving a client’s idea to a finished product, he enjoys the challenge of individualizing each piece to suit the client’s needs and wants.
